Post-construction deep cleaning that gets a renovated Los Angeles home ready to live in

After construction, our deep cleaning kicks in. The team removes dust and debris so your new space starts flawless, from the first walk through.

Fine dust, debris and covered floors: what a renovation leaves behind

After a renovation, the mess you can see is the easy part. The contractors haul out the debris, but the fine dust settles on window ledges, inside vents, along baseboards, across the tops of door frames and over every pane of glass. It lifts back into the air each time a door opens. King David Housekeeping built its post-construction deep cleaning for that layer, the one that stays behind after the builders pack up.

Often the floors are still covered when the crew arrives. Our own job photos of a large renovated room show floor protection still down while the work goes on, and that is deliberate. The covering stays where it belongs until the dust above it is dealt with, so the finished floor does not collect what falls from the ledges. Then the protection comes up and the floor gets its own pass.

How the crew clears a site room by room, from the ceiling fan down

The crew works high to low. Ceiling fans, light fixtures, cabinet tops and window frames come first, because whatever you wipe down from above lands below. Next come the walls, ledges and vents, then the insides of cabinets and drawers, where sawdust and plaster powder like to hide. Each room is finished before the next one starts, so a kitchen or bathroom is never left half done while the others wait.

The crew brings machines for the heavy dust and does the edges, fixtures, tile lines and sills by hand, because a machine cannot reach those. David scopes every job himself. Call or text (626) 620-1372 with the rooms involved and what was built or replaced, and he sets the plan with you before anyone is booked. Estimates are free.

Ready for move-in: the final wipe, the floors and the glass

The last pass is the one you will notice first. Counters and sinks get a final wipe, floors are cleaned all the way to the edges and into the corners, and the windows and glass doors are done so the light comes through clean. The aim is simple: when you open the front door for the first time after the work, the house reads as finished, not as a job site.

Homeowners and landlords across Los Angeles and a 40 Mile radius use this service before furniture goes back in, before a tenant arrives, or before the first family dinner in a remodeled kitchen. There are no contracts, satisfaction is guaranteed, and the work is walked through with you before the crew leaves. Once the house is clean, a maintenance schedule can keep it that way.
